Corrections, Retractions and Expressions of Concern

Journal of Sleep, Health, and Physiotherapy · ISSN 3085-6167 · Updated Jun 15, 2026

The scientific record must be accurate and trustworthy. The Journal of Sleep, Health, and Physiotherapy corrects published articles when necessary and uses formal post-publication notices, following COPE guidance. All notices are linked to the original article and to its editorial history.

Corrections (Errata)

Honest errors that affect the interpretation or reliability of a published article — but not its overall validity — are addressed through a Correction notice. The original article remains available, clearly linked to the correction.

Expressions of Concern

When there is well-founded concern about the integrity or reliability of a published article, and the investigation is ongoing or inconclusive, the journal may publish an Expression of Concern to alert readers, pending resolution.

Retractions

Articles with invalidating errors, proven misconduct, unethical research or unreliable findings are retracted. Retracted articles remain online, clearly watermarked as retracted, with a notice stating the reason, following COPE retraction guidelines.

Process

Concerns may be raised by authors, readers, reviewers or editors and are investigated with due process and the right of response. Decisions are documented. Concerns may be sent to editorial@oxtonjournals.com.
