Publishing Fees
Last updated: Jun 15, 2026
Oxton Journals practices a transparent fee policy, defined per journal and published permanently on each journal's Publishing Fees page. Transparency means that any applicable charge is announced before submission, never negotiated individually and never connected to the editorial evaluation of a manuscript.
Current Fee Policy
At present, both journals hosted on the platform — Oxton Science Journal (ISSN 3086-0881) and the Journal of Sleep, Health, and Physiotherapy (ISSN 3085-6167) — charge no submission fee and no article processing charge (APC) for regular submissions. Publication in both journals is therefore free of charge for authors, with all articles released in immediate open access.
Optional Fast Track Fee
An optional fast track administrative fee is available for authors who need priority administrative handling. The fast track service accelerates waiting times between editorial stages only; it does not guarantee acceptance, does not replace or shorten peer review and has no influence whatsoever on the editorial decision. Details are described in the Fast Track policy.
Waivers
Where fees apply, full or partial waivers may be granted — particularly to researchers from low- and middle-income countries, students without funding and invited contributions. Waiver requests are evaluated administratively, in complete separation from the editorial process: the editorial team handling a manuscript is never informed of its fee or waiver status.
Changes to This Policy
Any future change in fees will be publicly announced on this page and on the affected journal's pages, and will apply exclusively to submissions received after the date of the change. Manuscripts under evaluation remain governed by the fee policy in force at the time of their submission.
