All journals hosted on the platform are published in full and immediate open access: every article is freely available online from the moment of publication, without subscription, registration or payment of any kind by readers.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain the copyright of their work without restriction. Under the CC BY license, anyone may read, download, print, share, adapt and redistribute published content in any medium or format, provided the original work and its authors are properly cited.

What Open Access Means in Practice

• Articles are readable in full on their public pages, with downloadable PDF versions;
• No embargo period of any kind is applied;
• Authors may deposit the published version in institutional or thematic repositories, personal pages and academic networks, immediately and without permission;
• Reuse in teaching, research and clinical practice requires only proper attribution.

Sustainability and Preservation

The open access model of Oxton Journals is sustained by an efficient, low-cost editorial infrastructure rather than by reader-side charges. Published content is preserved through redundant storage, persistent identifiers and stable public URLs, and the platform is committed to the long-term digital preservation of the complete archive of its journals.
