Publishing with Oxton Journals means entering a guided, transparent editorial process in which authors follow every stage of their manuscript in real time. This page summarizes the journey; the complete instructions of each journal are available on its Instructions for Authors page.

Before Submitting

Choose the journal whose aims and scope match your work, read its author guidelines and prepare the two mandatory files: the identified manuscript (with authors, affiliations, ORCID iDs, corresponding author and all declarations) and the anonymized manuscript (with every element that could reveal authorship removed, including document metadata). Studies involving human participants or animals require ethics committee approval, and informed consent where applicable.

The Submission Wizard

Submission is completed through a multi-step online wizard with draft saving: journal selection and scope confirmation; manuscript type, title, abstract and keywords; authors and affiliations; file uploads; ethics, conflict of interest, funding, data availability and AI-use declarations; optional reviewer suggestions; and a final automatic validation that points out, before submission, anything that is missing or inconsistent — including signs of author identification in the anonymized file.

During Evaluation

After submission, authors track the editorial status in real time: screening, reviewer assignment, review in progress, decision. Revision requests arrive with the anonymized reviewer reports; revised versions are submitted with a point-by-point response letter, and the platform preserves the full version history of the manuscript.

After Acceptance

Accepted manuscripts enter editorial production — copyediting, normalization and layout — and authors approve the final proof before publication. Published articles receive an individual public page with complete bibliographic metadata, PDF, citation tools (ABNT, APA 7, Vancouver), access metrics and a permanent URL. Publication is in immediate open access under CC BY 4.0, with authors retaining copyright.
