Indexing and Discoverability
Last updated: Jun 15, 2026
Oxton Journals prepares each of its journals, from the first issue, to meet the documentary and technical requirements of national and international indexing services and discovery systems.
Built for Discoverability
- Persistent URLs and individual public pages for every article;
- Complete article-level metadata in Crossref-compatible format, with Google Scholar-compatible meta tags;
- ISSN compliance: official title used identically across all pages, masthead (expediente), editorial board, periodicity, institutional address and contact published for each journal;
- Transparent editorial policies: peer review, ethics, open access, fees, corrections and digital preservation, all public and dated;
- Open access under CC BY 4.0 with PDF available for every article.
Indexing Roadmap
Indexing applications are pursued progressively, as each journal consolidates its publication record — beginning with directories and discovery services appropriate to new journals and advancing toward disciplinary and citation databases as eligibility criteria (publication history, regularity, citation activity) are met. The status of each journal's preparation can be followed through its compliance pages: masthead, policies and archive.
For Librarians and Aggregators
Metadata of published articles is available in structured form for harvesting and cataloguing. Institutions interested in integration or holding information may contact editorial@oxtonjournals.com.
