Digital Preservation Policy
Journal of Sleep, Health, and Physiotherapy · ISSN 3085-6167 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
The Journal of Sleep, Health, and Physiotherapy is committed to the long-term preservation of its scientific record, ensuring that published content remains accessible permanently, regardless of future technological change.
Preservation Measures
- Redundant storage and regular backups of articles, metadata and editorial records;
- Persistent identifiers (DOIs) and stable public URLs for every article;
- Complete, structured metadata preserved alongside the content, in Crossref-compatible format;
- Version integrity: corrections, expressions of concern and retractions are linked to the original record, which is never silently altered.
Preservation Networks
As the journal consolidates its publication record, it pursues participation in recognized digital preservation initiatives (such as LOCKSS/CLOCKSS or the PKP Preservation Network), so that the archive is safeguarded across independent institutions.
Continuity
In the event of cessation of publication, the publisher is committed to keeping the archive accessible through preservation networks and stable identifiers.
