Fast track is an optional administrative priority service for authors who have legitimate time constraints. It is governed by the platform-wide ethical principles described in the Oxton Journals Fast Track policy.

What It Does

• Prioritizes the manuscript in the editorial screening queue;
• Accelerates reviewer invitation and assignment, with shorter administrative deadlines;
• Prioritizes production scheduling after acceptance;
• Generates internal deadline alerts at each stage.

What It Does Not Do

• It does not guarantee acceptance;
• It does not replace or shorten peer review itself;
• It does not influence the editorial decision in any way;
• It does not waive any ethics requirement.

Ethical Safeguards

The independence between payment and decision is structural: fast track is administered separately from the editorial workflow, and a rejection automatically closes the fast track service for the manuscript — the scientific decision always stands.

How to Request

Fast track may be requested at submission or later from the author dashboard, subject to the administrative fee on the Publishing Fees page. Approval is administrative, not editorial.
